AQUARIAN-AGE HEALING: BIO-MECHANICS
by John Hurley and Helen Sanders

Reformatted, lightly edited, and comprehensively indexed by Ken Ladd and Shay O’Neal

This is the original Aquarian-Age Healing published in 1932 by John Hurley and Helen Sanders, plus their Appendix update of 1936. The entire book has been reformatted to meet today's publication standards. The Index is brand new and was included to assure easier access to the materials within the book. As stated in Ken Ladd's Foreword, Dr. Hurley's latest developments and revisions are not included in this publication ... because they evolved over time to such an extent that they cannot be incorporated without major change to the book. The purpose of the present publication is to preserve Dr. Hurley's original ideas and to follow the progression of his thinking through his own writings. The original text has been minimally edited for readability, and the only additions are the following:
1.    “notes” and numbered footnotes for informational purposes
2.    a glossary containing Dr. Hurley's later definitions of concepts used in the book
3.    the current “Foreword” by Ken Ladd; the original “Foreword” has been renamed “Preface”
4.    a comprehensive index for easy access to all subjects
In addition to its value as a resource for Dr. Hurley’s followers, the current publication serves the purpose of introducing Aquarian-Age Healing: Bio-Mechanics to a new audience, providing insight into many areas of wellness and disease.

Aquarian-Age Healing was considered revolutionary when it was first published in 1932. After a career as a mechanical engineer, author John Hurley studied chiropractic and researched leading authorities in many fields to devise a new system of healing. Written with coauthor Helen Sanders, the book presented a new way of thinking about human physiology, from the neuromusculoskeletal system down to the cellular level.

The book:
•    emphasizes the importance of environmental influences on the structure and functioning of the human body,
•    recognizes the tremendous influence of gravity and other natural forces on the physical, mental, and emotional health of the individual, and
•    introduces gentle technics to rebalance the body around its center of gravity, relieve strain, and promote rest and a return to health and homeostasis.
The book also offers a look back at the origins of health care in this country, describing the direction and potential future of health care as it came more and more under the influence of the American Medical Association.

This system of healing has stood the test of time, continuing to provide outstanding results in healing where others only promise. It is called Aquarian-Age Healing because the authors believed that in the Aquarian Age greed and violence would cease and people would learn to help each other. As we enter the Aquarian Age, the authors’ vision is entering its time of fruition. The authors proclaim: This is the most important book ever written on the subject of health or the care of the body or the cure of disease. Their claim is seen as perfectly true by the many people who have received amazing benefits from this powerful work.
